How do you think about the title of this post?
Am I too exaggerate?
Don't judge too early. Mulberry is so good for health to be known as Queen of Health. It is good for production of red blood cell (RBC) because Iron concentration is high. Besides, it color is red if we crush the fruit. So, some people in Myanmar call Mulberry as သွေးသီး(Blood fruit). Mulberry plant in Myanmar language is 'Poe Sar Pin' (ပိုးစာပင်) which means the only plant that silkworms eat. Let's me explain in details about its name. The word Poe refers to silkworm, Sar which means food and the last one Pin is plant. The fruit from Poe Sar Pin is Poe Sar Thee (ပိုးစာသီး). Mulberry is really popular in Europe because of its valueable components and versatile usage as from jam, tea to cosmetics.

| Mulberry from grandma's yard (picked & took photo by me) |
Mulberry contains fairly high in water and low in calories. Mulberries also contain carbohydrates, fiber, protein and a little fat which made them fairly high in protein compared to most berries. They are rich in many vitamins and minerals, particularly Vitamin C and Iron. Decent amounts of potassium,Vitamin E and Vitamin K are also contained in Mulberries. They have many benefits like anti-ageing, anti-inflammatory, lower cholesterol, reduce cancer risk and improve blood sugar control. The story of Mulberries could not be done. So, you can go and check in the reference link in below if you want to know more about it.
Mulberry is one of my favorite fruits which has sweet taste when it's fully ripe and the color is reddish black. If its color is red, the taste is a little sour because it isn't ripe. Deep color and mature berries are rich in plant compounds such as anthocyanins, chlorogenic acid, rutin, and myricetin than colorless ones. You can see that there is both ripened and unripened Mulberries, are picked by me, in these photos.
The main part in my blog post is about the feeling and/ or emotions which related with the respective photos. When I see these photos, I see not only the beautiful berries but also my childhood. I go back to my grandma's home in Shan state in every summer holidays. My childhood memory about my grandma's yard is as sweet as fully ripe Mulberries. I really like to pick the fruits by myself and eat right away. That taste cannot compare to anything. Sometimes, my sister and I don't eat Mulberries but pressed them with mouth to get the color stain on our lips. I also like to tease others like I am bleeding by using crushed Mulberries. Those memories are so sweet as the taste of Mulberries. If you willing to eat Mulberries right now after reading this post, I would like to say sorry because its season is pass over.
Anyway, there are many more days to come. So, please wait with patience and remember this post when you have a chance to eat Mulberries. Thank you and I wait to read your sharing about your feelings in comment section.
